dreams

Snow and spells

I doubt it will accumulate, but it’s snowing pretty hard out right now. I finished my paper. It really was no problem. I don’t think it is long enough, and I’ll probably get a few more “not thoughtful enough” comments from the professor, but I’m really not up to caring about that right now. I’m exhausted.

I had some crazy-ass dreams last night. The only one I really remember with any sort of clarity had some pretty gruesome moments. I was gathered in someone’s backyard with a few friends. There was a party going on in the house, but we had more important things to do. Apparently, we were part of some magical group coven thing, and it was up to us to defeat some great evil that was coming. We had wands and were trying various incantations to build our powers so that we’d be strong enough to fight the evil. Somehow (and this is a bit fuzzy) we realized that in order to build our powers we had to kill someone and then bring them back to life. Through the course of our practice in the backyard, it was determined that only I was strong enough to do this.

I was responsible for killing my friends and then healing them. And once they died and were healed, they would also be stronger, and so could go kill and heal someone else to make them stronger, etc. This was how we were going to destroy the evil. By killing each other.

With no hesitation, I muttered some incantation, which sent a light out of my wand, slitting my friend’s throat. I muttered another incantation, sending another light to heal the wound. I did this for each friend that was there. I don’t remember the killing spell, but I do remember the healing one: theodoro-salvatore. It’s some sort of faux latin. After all of the killing/healing I was rather tired, and had to depend on my friends to protect me until I’d had enough rest to fight the evil myself. The dream ended before we had to do any fighting.

Oh, and all through the killing/healing another friend kept interrupting us from the party wanting to know when we were going to make her a drink. She didn’t seem too impressed by the gravity of our situation. Eventually, I became so annoyed with her that I cast one final spell before waking up: dormiendo protectadoro im pace. More faux latin. I didn’t want her to be killed by the evil when it eventually came, so I put her to sleep to shut her up, but also put a protection charm on her.

Interesting stuff, eh?

it’s been a while

my devoted (cough cough) readers have nagged me enough to make me post something.

something.

there, are you happy now? tee hee.

A great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! to MO today!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Chad, you made a cameo in one of my dreams last night… it was really weird. We were all at some wacky 20 cent party and it was kinda like the “toga” party, but a little different. We were all wearing weird drapey clothing like togas, except both shoulders were exposed. It was Gustav’s idea to have a “shoulder” party… weirdo. Anyway, you were going way crazy taking photos of everyone, and trying to get photos up girls drapey things. It was really funny. Don’t you go and get any ideas, now.

I think the spaminators who nabbed my email as a mask are pooping out, so I only got 230 messages today, as opposed to the 500 that I was getting. They were all bounce-backs. I hope that’s the last I see of them for a while. Thanks for the advice anyway, Kristen.

I’m almost done knitting that scarf for myself. I finished that hat a while ago. woo. I’m working on making a scrapbook for the crafty projects that I actually finish.

I’ve stopped biting my fingernails (as of October 3) and now I’ve been inducted into the society of nail grooming. It’s really stupid. I had to buy an emory board, and everything. And they don’t last very long, so I need to buy more. My nails grow really really really quickly, and I’m having to trim them and file them more than I’d care to.

Aren’t you glad I posted this people? You wanted something to read, and here it is. Exciting, no?

Of course. Well, it was a few days ago. Damn Limozeen people.

thanks for the tips, MO!

Goblin King, O, Goblin King… the url doesn’t work. And I have an email for you that I’ve been writing for well over a month… yeah, I’m not so up to date with my email. However, I have been trying to look some stuff up for you. It’s been so long, you might have forgotten what you asked me about. tee hee. I’ll see you in a month, anyway… woo hoo! (you’re going to be in town, right?)

hey Joelle..thanx for the birthday wish.

Also, if you buy a nail file (the metals ones) they will last alot longer then the emory boards and I like to use for cleaning, too.

a little overbored

I must really be bored… or something’s up…

There are a couple of people that have been showing up in my dreams of late… people from high school, yikes. But I thought, since my subconscious is being so persistent, perhaps I should try to contact these people. Short of paying some people searching website, or registering (and paying) for those reunion-type webbie services, I’ve tried several methods… well, ok, so I tried google-ing around to find them with not much luck.

I have my website listed at a couple of those reunion-type places, but in order for anyone to access that info, they’d have to pay… and who the hell wants to do that?

Those people will just have to keep bothering me in my dreams.

word.

Dammit, this one person keeps showing up in my dreams… again, last night, he was there. Just there. I was driving around, and he was in my passenger seat. I don’t think I said more than two words to this person my entire life, and he has the nerve to keep popping into MY dreams… sheesh.

I found one reference online when I googled him, and I emailed that address. No response yet. I have no idea what I’ll say to him if he’s the same person, however, this whole showing up in my dreams thing is telling me to try to contact him… if not him specifically, then certainly people from high school in general. yikes.

There are only a couple of people from those days with whom I’d very much like to establish new ties, however, he’s certainly not one of them.

I remember having dreams in highschool about people that I only saw, and never spoke to. I’d walk into school the next morning feeling some sort of connection. It weirded me out.

I did a Google search on the boy I had a crush on from 2nd to 4th grade and I found that he’s going to Seattle Pacific University and runs track.
